Introduction
Wafer Check Valve is a compact and easy-to-install check valve used to prevent backflow of media. The "wafer type" means that the valve is clamped between two flanges by bolts, without the need for separate flange connection, and has a small installation space, making it suitable for occasions with limited pipeline space.
Advantages
Extreme Temperature Adaptability
The valve body can be made of ASTM A216 WCB carbon steel for high-temperature media, with a temperature resistance up to 425°C; for low-temperature media, ASTM A352 LCC steel is available, with an impact toughness ≥27 J @ -29°C, ensuring no brittleness at low temperatures.
High Pressure Sealing Performance
The ball and seat are hardfaced with tungsten steel metal-to-metal, and precision ground to achieve a clearance ≤0.05 mm, achieving a full-rated pressure seal, capable of withstanding ANSI Class 150–4500 or API6A 3000–20000 PSI.
Self-Cleaning and Anti-Clogging
The ball surface is hydrodynamically optimized, with a surface finish Ra ≤0.4 μm in contact with the seat, preventing particle accumulation in the media and reducing the risk of jamming and valve blockage.
